Software Developer

Software Developer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Debug and resolve software defects in existing applications
- Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions
- Write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability
- Execute code builds in dev, test, and production environments
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams
- Document solutions with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments and clear code
- Application architecture and design patterns
- Object-oriented programming
- Software development fundamentals
- Software testing
- Secure software development
- Requirements analysis
- Proficiency with Java and/or Javascript
- Familiarity with Spring Framework
- Familiarity with Angular
- Experience developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
- Experience working with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
- Experience developing with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, OpenSearch
- Experience with Cloud migration and implementation
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) program(s)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation
- Must have or work towards CompTIA Security + Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the government contracting industry
